IRENE CEMBROSKI
With family by her side, Irene Cembroski passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026.
She was predeceased by her loving husband (Bob), of 42 years and her parents Jan and Katarzyna Bochniarz and her cousin Gloria.
Those who will forever miss her include, her sister Joan; her children Michael (Jessica); grandchildren Zachary and Nicholas; daughter Kathleen (Matthew); sister-in-law Patricia (George); niece Amelia (Paul and Minnie); nephew Dean and cousins Marvin and Terry. She will also be missed by her fur babies who were always close to her heart and adored with great affection.
Throughout her life, she was known for her loving nature, warm smile, tireless work ethic, and devotion to her family and those she loved. She was a master of thoughtful gesture and always made sure her family was cared for to the fullest extent. She took great joy in making sure everyone left her house after a family gathering with their arms full and heart fed.
Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren, and the lessons she taught us by leading through heartfelt example of all the small and thoughtful things she did.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba.
